I'd like to add a count for the TSW2.   For an extra $15, you can get the
dual-axis plug upgrade.   I don't care for FF right now.   Also, I
personally got sick of replacing springs and other parts from plastic wheels
that I bought from Best Buy etc...I'm confident my TSW will last a lifetime.
Plus it feels 10x more "real".

ECCI CDS4000 anytime. Over $500, but worth every cent.

I don't know about the "best", but I use a homebuilt TSW replica with
RRC pedals, love it

Problem being, that post people are only going to buy ONE set of Pedal /
Wheel, hence they can only vot for what they've bought (to a greate
extent)...so, my vote goes for my only candidate - MSFF...the Pedals are
superb...the wheels just a bit..dunno...wierd...!?

I purchased a TSW1 with the single/dual axis pedal
switch option already installed ($465 delivered).
Fabulous feel and control in GPL.  The only thing
that would make it better would be force feedback,
which isn't likely to happen for a TSW as an upgrade
option.  Could happen as a new style wheel sometime
in the future, though.

Count me as voting for the TSW1 with the single/dual axis
switch on the pedals.  I may buy a LWFF wheel sometime soon,
though, and use the TSW pedals with it so I can have the
best of both worlds. :)

Nearly correct, some people, like myself, may have owned several wheels,
and tried others (say at friends houses or in stores?)

I have owned a cheap plastic wheel (cannot even remember its name?)
which was ***and broke after about 10 minutes. I've also got a
Thrustmaster T2, which I've had for about two and a half years and still
works flawlessly. And I also have an F1 Sim (formerly known as the
GP500) which is an excellent wheel and pedal model.

I have also tried the MS Sidewinder FF wheel, and the Saitek R4 FF wheel
and the Act Labs FF wheel, all were pretty good, of these I'd probably
recommend the MS FF though as it had the best "feel" of the FF wheels.

Overall though, the F1 Sim is very hard to beat for pure quality and
feel.

8-)

I Agree

MSFF is a great wheel but what I like might not be what YOU like - you really
need to form you own opinion.  Go someplace like BEST BUY where they have all
the wheels side by side and get a feel for them all.

Of you can trust me and the previous poster and get a MSFF.  You won't be sorry!
