Believe it or not: our car preview page is updated ...
Mark Beckman was very busy again! His latest track creation is
Riverside, where the US Grand Prix was held in 1960. This track is
available at GPL Glory and The Back Stretch.
The Circuito di Milano by Bubba Jones and his team is out! You can
regard it as the long awaited "banked Monza". The track layout is the
same but it not intended to simulate the full Circuito di Monza in
every detail. Get the track and a lot of information about it here
Volker Holz has released his 1967 Cooper T81-Maserati. The car is
offered at the Vatican Pits (choose Vatican Pits from the menu on the
left of the 'Best of GPL' page).
Some have reported getting graphics-crashes at Le Mans Sarthe. There
is a fix available but it is not clear yet if it solves the problems.

Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe - yes, it became true! This legendary
track is available for GPL now. Roland Ehnstr?m, who already made
Circuit Bugatti, has done this masterpiece with many others. Check out
the details here. You can download the normal version here (4.6 MB)
and the light version here (4.0 MB).
Randy Cassidy from Papyrus has made a Grand Prix Legends CPU Speed
Fix. It fixes GPL for CPUs with 1.7 GHz and above. Get it here in the
"Downloads" section.
Andre Streu released the Halle-Saale-Schleife, a track used in the
50s situated in the east of Germany. Get it here.
The forums are now back online !! Many thanks to Phil Lee of the
Legends Central, who's superb, lightning fast work made this possible
so quickly. See you at the forums - ofcourse, still at the same

A public beta of Paul Thurston's GEM+ (an application intended to
extend the GPL user interface) is available here. The forum here is

A new track is out: Road67. It is a superb road track built by Alain
Bosco. Don't hesitate, get at Alain's site.
Attention track editors: Guru has published ASE23DO, a program
designed to convert ASE (one of the ways that 3D objects can be
exported from 3DStudioMax) files to 3DO files. Check it out here.
Eric Cote has made a preview video of the upcoming track Mt.
Tremblant made by Gilles Benoit (with the help of Christian Roy and
