New GPLEA Lotus "failed internal quality control" - why?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe they were just being a bit sarcastic....
maybe they meant that the original wheels weren't good enough, so those new
incredible looking deep dish rims have now been created and are taking a bit
longer... (you can see the new rims in those screenshots on the car projects
page).

Just my 2 cents worth. I personally am counting the days till they release
their version of that beautiful car. It will most likely be quite a
masterpiece. Those rims are just absolutely amazing looking.

On their site it says "you can find the reason why at the car projects
page", but I can't see any sign of an explanation. Anyone know?

It sounds like you got a factory defect. There are lemon laws in my state,
you may want to check yours.

1) I don't live in any state - I'm English.
2) It's a GPL car, not a real one!

Yep, I think those wheels weren't there on the previous GPLEA Lotus shots.
It's woth the delay IMO. Those deep wheel made N3 look much better, and I'm
sure it'll make gpl look much better too!
