Hello,
I am looking for a PC game that is turn based and as close to the
original Car wars game as possible.  Any game that has increasing
character skills, customizable vehicles and dynamic salvage would really
be great.  I have a P75 machine, so I'd have more luck with older games.
There used to be a Car Wars game for the commadore 64 that was very
graphics limited but had really good gameplay, can't remember what its
called.

Hello again,

In response to my query fro a car wars like game, I wanted to reply to
Ken:

YES! It was autoduel and I've found it free online for MAC2's and
commadores, now I just need a goof proof emulator (at least goof proof
enough for me and I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to emulators).

From what I've seen in a day or two online, it seems like there hasn't
really been a new version of Autoduel, cripes what are those eye-candy
crazed software developers thinking of ($,fun?).  Hopefully, something
will come up soon, I76 demo made me get motion sickness and bogged on my
PC!
