So,  Papy can give the track away to people who may or may not have an
interested in computer racing but have the time and money to get to
Daytona BUT the loyal racers who have shelled out for ump*** versions
of Nascar racing can't have the only track that most care about in
Nascar.  Is this a great country or what?

I wonder how many of those CDs will get used for beer coasters or
attempted to be played in pickup truck CD players...

You apparently don't understand. It appears that Daytona payed Papy to make a demo for THEM. What they do with it is up to them, NOT Papy. Your beef is NOT with Papy, it's with Daytona. I hope that makes it a little more clear.

Kudos to you! You took the words right out of my mouth! It all comes down to
one thing, MONEY. Think Sierra gives a shit about us? Not likely unless you
have a sawbuck in your pocket. People make me sick on the message board at
Sierra "thanks for all your hard work you guys are great". How bout them
thanking me for all the money  have spent on their games! I once put up a
post here saying what kind of game I would like to see next and people were
actually telling me I should be thanking Sierra. Really? Hmmm, yes thank the
guy in the white hen next time he sells you milk. Say "thanks for taking my
money" "I owe you one for letting me buy my milk here". We need some
customer service from them. They do have some great employees but they need
to learn a lesson on how to treat customers.
On an unrelated note I spoke to Sierra customer service today and they said
the N3 truck pack will be out in late April. I also gave them shit for not
having enough info on the site about it.

My all.cal just has

1 02 20 1 0 DAYTONA Daytona_500 Daytona_500 event1.tga biglogo1.tga

How do I correct it for laps??  :0/

If you mean Daytona.txt in the track folder...like I said "The txt file has
it set for 200, but still I can only run 3 (and 2 were under caution for
backmarkers!)".

Let's see...I have...

ICR1 (ok, I didn't buy it - but it was when we'd just switched from Mac to
PC way back in 94)
ICR1 Track Pack \
                 |----anyone want these?  www.kirker.8k.com
ICR1 Indy Pack  /
NASCAR1
N1 Track Pack
ICR2
sadly, nothing else for it :(
NASCAR 2
NASCAR 1999
Grand Prix Legends
NASCAR 3
NASCAR Legends

So where can I download the new Daytona?????  It should've been in N1!!!

jeffery,

What planet to you live on ? How can you say that !!  Papyrus didn't
decide to Daytona and then only release it at the Daytona speedweeks, it was
DIS.  Payrus simply did the track under contract.

Rest assured, Daytona will be all over the net within days.  But it
only works with the demo, so someone will have to work out a patch, then
post it.
