After only a few days of signups, IVL is expecting a fine starting grid
for the first race of the season. Both the Cup and GN divisions will
have quite a few returning drivers to take another stab at beating Rich
Stranzl, 3-time champion of the Cup division.
The GN division has a new driver, Tom McKie, who has already been a
champion in other offline leagues and has decided to add IVL to his list
of championships, however, he has to beat his own teammate, Rich
Stranzl.
The Truck Division should be an exciting year of fresh racing against
very well programmed AI on all-new tracks. Tracks like Louisville and
Flemington will give our drivers a great challenge.
IVL has brought the best of offline simulated stockcar racing to the
internet since 1996 and will continue to do so for as long as there are
tracks to burn *** on. With the use of RaceSet2, IVL is the easiest
league to participate in. Software engineer, David Martin, doesn't rely
on flashy web pages to attract drivers. Instead, well-designed
software, auto-reply email and the fastest results posting possible
keeps the best drivers in IVL. If you don't believe it, check the IVL
web pages within 15 minutes of any deadline. The results will be
there. We try to cater to everyone's needs without sacrificing realism.
The newest division to be launched in March, will be similar to the
Goody's Dash Series, featuring short races in a short season on mostly
short tracks. There will be 3 seasons of intense Dash racing per year,
always ending up at Hickory, NC. N. Wilkesboro will return to the IVL
schedule at least once per year in this division for those who really
don't understand how a great venue like N. Wilkesboro could suddenly
find itself without a single date on any major racing schedule. Hey, we
don't forget to dance with the one who "brung" us. :-)
