Which game is better?

IMHO, the driving model is slightly better in gp2 and the menus and
options are better in gp2, but overall the best game has to be f1rs,
as it is newer, and therefore has better graphics, is optimised for
D3D and 3Dfx,it also has weather options and has good multiplayer
options (which are sadly lacking in gp2).

I echo these comments exactly.  My initial impressions were pretty much the
same.  I'd also like to add that the sounds are not quite as good as in GP2,
but like the cars, tracks, and drivers, you can hack the game to bring them
up to par.  I've done the Pat Painter's cars and***pits, which are
beautiful as usual.

Also, I have been able to setup my TM GP1/CH Pro Pedals to emulate a F1 car,
as in the levers behind the wheel now operate the shifting instead of
gas/brake.  This goes a long way to my preferences in game.  I was unable to
get this right in GP2.

As to the car physics, I am adjusting to F1RS, and will probably become as
inefficient as I was in GP2.

GP2 was, and still is an amazing simulation.  F1RS is just a wheel width
better.
