Since ESPN/2's coverage of the Rolex 24 hours of Daytona seems to decline
bit by bit every year, I'm curious if anyone knows of any timing and scoring
websites out there?

There was live radio last year, think if you go to the sportscarworld.com
website you'll find it :-)

MRN radio will be broadcasting the race online live.

It kind of sucks that I can't get ESPN up here :(
BTW MRN Radio is the Normaly the NASCAR radio station.
You might also want to check out the 24 hours of daytona home page.

I was thinking of going down but it's a little bit too far.. only $70
for 4 day's of racing, not bad.

Thanks Alan, I knew that MRN was broadcasting the race, but we don't get it
here in Los Angeles and I was not aware of their web site. It's going to be
a long weekend<g>.

In my area at least we get 9.5 hours of coverage.
3.5 at the start and 6 to end it Sunday Morning.

I was very happy to see that MRN added the live stream of the Daytona PA
announcers sometime in the early evening Saturday night.  That got me thru
until an early bedtime so I could get up at 6am, hehe.

Does anyone here somewhat follow GARR or USRRC or whatever the heck it's
called this year?  Why wasn't the #6 and #10 First Union and Valvoline BMW
M3's here this year?  Also I was disappointed to wake up today and see that
no Ferarri WSC's were running, but the Viper/Corvette battle was good
enough.

My coverage was the best, I was there, standing at the pit wall.  I'll
try to get all my photos scanned so you guys can check out the
close-up pit action...
