Yes! the sim (for that time) that got me hooked on racing sims forever,
spent many 100's of hours racing Accolade Grand Prix Circuit on my C-64
back in 1988/1989, amazing really when you compare the physics modeling
of those days to what we now have the previledge to drive in GPL!

Can't wait to see what the next 10 years brings in racing sims...

        Does Indy 500 on the Atari 2600 count as a racing sim?

        Unfortunately I only had Grand Prix Circuit for the PC (though
I had Test Drive for the C64), which meant my McLaren was painted in
pink and white!

        Geoff Crammond's GP3 to be released in 2008.

Oh yes, I remember this well.  In fact this is the only "sim" I recall
that ever had "oil" and/or "debris" on the track.  However, it was
always there, you just had to be aware of it....
