New MAC version, what do I need?

I have been waiting for a Mac version of this game but I'm unsure of what
combo of hardware/software I need. I have a Power Mac 9500/132 mhz, 100+MB
RAM and a Thundercolor 30/1152 graphics accelerator. No external speakers
yet and no sound other than the system. Any ideas for what is needed to
make this enjoyable on Mac? Thanks

First off, you will probably find a better discussion of the Mac version
of IndyCar 2 and Nascar over in the "comp.sys.mac.games.action"
newsgroup. The talk here is 99.9% PC version.

It sounds like you have a good system for *any* game! The only thing you
will need to make IndyCar 2 or Nascar more enjoyable is a good joystick
or a steering wheel. Keyboard/mouse racing is possible, but frustrating.
A joystick such as the Gravis Firebird or CH Products Flightstick Pro
will give you the control you need to tackle the tracks.

By the way, both IndyCar 2 and Nascar are available *now*. Try ***ian
Outpost.
