Nascar 1.0 Mac vs Dos

Hello,

I recently bought Nascar 1.0 for the Mac.  I downloaded some
settings off of the net and ran Mich.  Everything was fine.  I tried
the same track with all of the same settings on a DOS machine and I
found a real loose condition for the first lap or so, then the car
settles in nicely.  Was this improved/not improved on the Mac, or is
Nascar 1.0/DOS a little different in the way the tires and cars were
simulated?

Thanks in advance

I think I remember reading somewhere that the DOS version had a problem
where the physics / car settings had a bug that showed up only during the
first few laps. This was apparently fixed in the "Hawaii" version and the
Mac version.
