GP2 troubleshooting

After many tries, no matter what i do, I just can't get GP2 working.
Each time, after validating GP2.exe, I find myself in front of a dark
screen ? The only solution left then is to press <ctrl+alt+suppr>.
Who can help ?
My config :
        - CYRIX P166+
        - Matrox millenium 2Mo
        - RAM = 32 Mo
        - 620 Ko DOS memory
        - SB AWE32
Thanks for Help

I think this problem is down to the sound card configuration. I assume
you are running in dos mode, but are you running the program to
initialise your sound card? I've got an awe64, and I need to run CTCM
which is in the windows directory to init the card in dos. Also verify
the sound card settings in the game.

Note : It is possible that the references to BLASTER= in the
autoexec.bat _Dont_ reflect the settings on the card.

Good Luck
