This Is not a Comment on the Logitech FF Stick Just My Personal Experience.
I bought the Wingman FF joystick Awhile Ago And I hooked it up(I Tried the
USB And the Gameport Hookup Both)(not Together at once but one at a time)
and ran Motocross Madness and every other FF game i could Find and i just
could not get any Real significant FF effects to work on the Joystick.
I took the wingman back to the store and bought
the Microsoft FF stick and it worked with motocross madness no
problem with lots of FF effects and everything worked without making
any changes to the Game setting
This Happened with almost every FF game I could Find. the Logitech Just
never gave me the same kind of FF effects that the Microsoft did.AGAIN THIS
IS NOT A COMMENT ON THE LOGITECH FF JOYSTICK, JUST MY EXPERIENCE.
Maybe there is a patch out to correct this
I would not put it past Microsoft if they make Directx somehow more
responsive on the MS FF Joystick Than On the others.
