Just wondering, where u guys normally race online?  When I race, I
normally go to Kali's racing server -> Racing at 205.244.188.24
There is usually a good crowd, but there could be more...so join us
sometimes.  Its too bad that racing doesnt have the following of other
games, ie Kali's Descent server normally has over 100 ppl any time
of the day.

Depending on what simulations, there is 3 major places for online racing :

- NROS.  This is a Nascar Sanctioned online series for Nascar Racing 2.  You
can find all about it at http://www.nros.com/

- GPL.  This you will meet people via the VROC mostly, who is situated at
http://gpl.gamestats.com/VROC/

- MS racing games.  For the Microsoft racing titles, you can log on
http://www.zone.com/ and have plenty of people with you for C:PR, MTM, MTM2
and MCM.

- Fran?ois Mnard <ymenard> Good race at the Brickyard!
- Official Mentally retarded guy of r.a.s.
- Excuse me for my English (I'm French speaking)
- Sponsored by http://www.awpss.com/ on the NROS
- "People think it must be fun to be a super genius, but they don't realise
how hard it is to put up with all the idiots in the world."--

If you're into Viper, head to irc channel #Viper on GamesNET.  Go to
http://www.gamesnet.net for information on what servers are available.
There's some info at http://www.lagitus.com/viper too.  We'll have a
web-based java irc client there soon.  Most nights after 8pm cst there's
a bunch of people there looking for races.

The Kali ->Racing<- server was a lot busier before GPL came out.

GPL is best played via TCP/IP on the internet.  TCP/IP uses reduced
packets and such.  GPL with IPX is meant for LANs only.  Since
Kali is for IPX games, the GPL action is at VROC
(http://gpl.gamestats.com/vroc)

I wont touch Nascar until N3 -- everything else is arcade compared
to the GPL physics. (Actually I play MTM2 while waiting for a good
GPL host to finish their current race :)

Jason.
