Just would like to point out a bug, I ran the first race of a new
   season, so i wen't to check the points, and noticed they were
   not distributed right, example .
   1st place got 180 pts, 175pts for 1st, 5pts for leading a lap,
   he also led the most laps which would give him another 5pts,
   which would give him 185 total. But he only got 180pts.
   This goes down the list of finishing poisitions some are right
   some are wrong.
   This is a big part of the game running a season, but the points are
   all screwed up.
   Has anybody else noticed this?
   You would think the programmers would have aleast got the points
   system right.
   This really bugs me, a patch for this would be nice.

Who led a lap is determined at the very end of each lap. So since you won
the race, you had to have led the last lap :)

When I checked the points,they seemed to be right until now (but I didn't
check them often).
I made another observation:
The other day I made my way through the field, achieving the lead in the
very last turn of the race: I got 180 points, though I wouldn't leed for 1
lap, but only from exit of turn 4 to finish line.
AFAIK that was not correct either!?!?

Thats the famous "I didnt lead many laps but i led the one that counts" move.
Im famous for pulling that at Talladega.

Oddly enough i just finished a full distance race at Daytona (the start of my
season....i won :) and it gave me and the second place car (B. Labonte) the
same points...180.  Now we both led laps but i led over half the race meaning i
should have gotten 185.  For some reason it gae him the 5 bouns pts. for most
laps led even though he led less than half as many as i did.  Oh
well...hopefully it wont effect the final outcome of my season :)
