I searched high and low for a site, but apart for Europress's meagre offering
I too found nothing. I even asked on this group and got nothing. I really
enjoyed this game. The cars are wonderfully robust - you can pile into a
boulder at 175mph and they emerge unscathed. I also managed to get over 200.6
mph out of a Fort Escort Cosworth by mucking with the gear ratios! I've also
found that you're better off not using the breaks at all for top times - it's
rather like those Olympic toboggan tracks in this respect - swing the car
round so that the arse hits the outside of the corner and you won't lose too
much speed, but don't hit full on or you'll turn over. The forest sections are
terrifying - burning down a narrow tree lined track at 150 mph but don't turn
over! Bit short of realism but loads of fun. I'm looking forward to
Codemaster's Colin McRae's rally - if TOCA is anything to go by this should be
the king of rally sims.
