Hi Folks,

I wonder if anyone can direct me to a good web site devoted to Europress's
old Rally Championship sim (not their "International Rally Championship,"
but its predecessor).

Web searches haven't turned up much--besides Europress's own site--but
surely there must be some areas devoted to this (considering its age)
nicely-done sim, full of buzzing, three-wheeling Golfs, and enthusiastic,
cardboard spectators.

best,
DK

Hello

I have a page about linking race games. If you submit your information to it
a would like to add a special link page for that game. I love it 2 you see.

Ps. I have the x-files tracks original but not the game (only a copy from
the cd that doens't work yet) do you know a patch so that it works without
the cd?

Greeting Maikel.

I searched high and low for a site, but apart for Europress's meagre offering
I too found nothing. I even asked on this group and got nothing. I really
enjoyed this game. The cars are wonderfully robust - you can pile into a
boulder at 175mph and they emerge unscathed. I also managed to get over 200.6
mph out of a Fort Escort Cosworth by mucking with the gear ratios! I've also
found that you're better off not using the breaks at all for top times - it's
rather like those Olympic toboggan tracks in this respect - swing the car
round so that the arse hits the outside of the corner and you won't lose too
much speed, but don't hit full on or you'll turn over. The forest sections are
terrifying - burning down a narrow tree lined track at 150 mph but don't turn
over! Bit short of realism but loads of fun. I'm looking forward to
Codemaster's Colin McRae's rally - if TOCA is anything to go by this should be
the king of rally sims.
