I can only receive RAS at work, since my cable provider doesn't
support RAS (well, I can access RAS at home but my provider only shows
about 10 new messages a day).
Dejanews wasn't a good solution, I found it a clumsy system.
I just stumbled upon this one:
http://www.racesimcentral.net/
and it seems to work excellent.. have to test it some more, but the
good news is it also supports binarie newsgroups!
So for the people who can't access alt.binaries.simulators.autos, now
you can :)

Looks pretty good so far. Won't last though. Nothing good ever does... :(

Indeed.. A year or so ago I also found a very good Usenet site which
also supported all binarie groups. 3 months later it became a paysite
:(

to read RAS.
You can't post through it and it doesn't offer binaries.
But at least you'll be able to follow RAS from home as well.
I use it as my backup newsreader.

Thanks Hans but the other site seems to be a better solution then,
also for you, since you can post and get binaries with that one.

I've fiddled about with this, and am pretty impressed. Place your
bets now on how long before it goes pay... (I give it a fortnight or
so...)
