I've tried something like that. Has anyone successfully cloned the
whole 97 season inserting tracks as appropriate?

How about some tracks where they run different lengths? I've tried
editing the various track files with no luck yet.

Does anyone have a completed bunch I can download or the secret of the
various track files so I can make my own 97 season?

I'm proposing:
Daytona - Talladega
California - Michigan or Atlanta?
Texas - C***te?
Indy - ?????

And does anyone have a track "editor???"

you need to go into the "track".dat file and there is about 5 files if I
remember right that need to be changed to what the new track name is.

Try molding Indy out of something like Pocono. Or get the real Indy from
the old ICR1 trackpak and convert that to Homestead or to Rio.
