Meet The Pro-Approved Beta Testers For Skip Barber Racing..

When Bethesda Approached us about testing Skip Barber Racing we were very
e***d.  They
know the way we do things at Pro-Approved.  We use real drivers and sim
specialist and we
don't pull any punches.  We weren't consulted for the design of this
product.  But we expect to
see our first product for testing this week.  We will have plenty of time
I'm sure to provide
meaningful input to validate and test the product.  This will be our 4th
product for Bethesda
as we tested and help develop their drag racing series:  Burnout, PCE and
NIRA.

Bethesda is a great company to work for as we can freely get into heated
exchanges of information
without fear of retribution.  Their Engineers have ego's, but can handle the
constructive suggetions.

Although I'm sure for a 1.0 product this will have some quirks! This should
provide a good baseline for several road racing products, if they chose to
produce them.   If you look at the testers you will see alot of world famous
drivers that span many forms of road racing.    Now you can vist the link,
and met the road racing testers of Pro-Approved.

Does Skip Barber Racing still use the X-Car graphics and physics engine?

No, it's apparently an evolution from their drag-racing title. I never
played that game, but I recall it being reviewed favorably around here
when it was released.
