fact it's a clean, smooth, progressive performance that supplies the real

I own two of the cars those wheels were attached to. I also own 25% of
Ferrari's stock. I won't be selling any of my many cars on ebay because I
don't need the money.

I was tempted to buy one of those last year.

They are (or were) for sale on Ferarri's web site. They were genuine F1
wheels, (used only for one race each!) and sold through the ferrari shop at
Modena (and on the web site).

It would have been an interesting project to figure out the electronics
enough to mate the buttons and display to sim racing wheel. I think that if
I had done that and eventually wanted to sell it, it would have gone for a
lot more than $2000

Is this the same as what you saw last year?  I found this on Ferrari's
site.  It says:

2003 F1 Steering Wheel
A full size replica of the steering wheel used on the F2003-GA. This is a
truly authentic replica constructed as the original in every detail. The
authentic carbon composite construction with *** grips and the
operating switches and paddles are taken straight from the Ferrari
tooling. The steering wheel is mounted on a red leather base with a clear
acrylic dust cover. This item is exclusively for the dedicated collector
and is available in a limited edition.

It doesn't say anything about it being made of concrete, but neither is
it 100% clear as to whether you could actually make it functional.
