Am I stupid?
I have tried saving my car setup for a race and then tried reloading the
setup later with no way of accessing the setup. Am I doing something
stupidly wrong?

I sounds like you didn't do a complete installation. The setups stay on
the CD
so they can not be overwritten. All you should have to do is copy all the
setups from the CD to their respective places on your hardrive and the
then remove the Read-Only with the Dos command ATTRIB. Or just do a
complete installation if you have 100 megs free.
I really think they should have done this with the minimum install. They
don't take up much room.

No, there is a bug in the mimimum installation that saves the setups to
your harddrive, but will only load from the CD-ROM. Papyrus says they
hope to have a fix ASAP.
