I felt that the grid was very "squashed up" (laterally)  in the release by
David so I fiddled with the spacing dimensions and came up with something
that allows a bit of room to manouvre when getting off the line.

This may be of little benefit to those who simply race on-line but for
others racing against AI it should make the starts a little less hazardous
when trying to get past a slower starter.

The text below should be copied and pasted into the appropriate location in
the track.ini file of the Osring track.
====================
[ starting_grid_0 ]
  ; 2x2 staggered grid
  ; polesitter on left
stall_0  = 5898.95 3.50
stall_1  = 5898.95 -1.25
stall_2  = 5888.95 1.55
stall_3  = 5888.95 -3.50
stall_4  = 5878.95 3.50
stall_5  = 5878.95 -1.25
stall_6  = 5868.95 1.55
stall_7  = 5868.95 -3.50
stall_8  = 5858.95 3.50
stall_9  = 5858.95 -1.25
stall_10  = 5848.95 1.55
stall_11  = 5848.95 -3.50
stall_12  = 5838.95 3.50
stall_13  = 5838.95 -1.25
stall_14  = 5828.95 1.55
stall_15  = 5828.95 -3.50
stall_16  = 5818.95 3.50
stall_17  = 5818.95 -0.25
stall_18  = 5808.95 1.55
stall_19  = 5808.95 -3.05

How about a grid formation that spells out a rude word, when viewed from above?

such words under our breath as we become members of, or renew subscriptions

Well, not me, Rob.  I don't drive in a mode that allows for Shift-R Iand
I've rarely used the Training option).
