F1 97?

F1 97?

I adored F1 97 on the Playstation, but haven't tried it on the PC. Is
it very different - like the difference between TOCA 2 on the PSX and
PC?

How well do the cars work, in simulation mode, with a steering wheel
or joystick?

I know that it requires a 3Dfx card to play, but is there also a D3D
option? If not, I doubt I'll be buying it.

What did people think of the PC release of F1 97?

F1 98 was total cack!

F1 '97 on PC is just a port of the Playstation game. Not too many problems,
but you have to manually re-load settings every time it starts.

Good game, if you like that kind of stuff. I prefer GP2.

I think F1 97 on the PC is cack.

Using a wheel makes it handle like a dog.

Looks nice enough, but even with an AGP 16mb Voodoo Banshee, it's
occasionally a bit sluggish.

GP2 still woops ass...but GPL is THE race game to get
