Win95 NFS SE

Hmm... this is rather peculiar. Everything has been fine, however
it cannot, all of a sudden, detect my SB16. Granted, I downloaded the
newest Win95 drivers for it this past Friday, but all my other Win95
games are fine. I even went so far as to reinstall the older SB16
drivers but to no avail. Regardless, my other Win95 games are fine, as
are the DOS games I play in Win95 DOS mode.
The game simply will not see my SB16 (not PNP... the old one with
jumpers). When I use the install utility to set up my sound, the game
says I have no sound card. I even installed the DOS version in Win95
just for grins and that found my card fine! Questions... comments...
concerns... ? Thanks...

Are you using the NFS SE network support? If I understand right, the
Win95 version is just a DOS game that needs Win95 for network support.
If you're not running network games, running it from Win95 is just
asking for problems.
I have SE, which I installed and run from DOS without any problems.
(not counting that its the only DOS game I have that needs the single
port convertor for my T2.)
