MGPRS2 can't find CD-ROM

I've installed the latest MGPRS2 patch (106) and now when I try to run
the game I get "Can't run without CD-ROM". The CD is definitely in the
drive. I'm running Windows 2000.

Any ideas?

If you patch MGPRS2 to version 1.06 WIN2000 doesnt recognize the game...
same thing happened to me   :-((
