I purchased the NASCAR book 2 nights ago. For someone just getting their feet
wet in internet racing, it's sweet. Does a good job of breaking down the com-
ponents of set-up. Then it goes into turning a race set-up car into a stout
qualifying machine. I think the strategy guide by Jan Kohl is an excellent
start, but some of the tables in the book put somethings in perspective. Each
track is broken down into driving the grove with diagram, car set-up(real
general), and pit Stratdgy. The CD has programs such as a set-up editor that
lets you figure the weights on the corners of the car Like the real guys and
then calculates them into the 3 choices we have. Kinda slick but will take a
while to get used to. Their are also replay editors and some of the things we
can get offf the net, like the night race commands. There's an old-timers car
set thats pretty good and a set of NFL cars. Also some designs that look like
street cars. I think it will help me alot.
