here it is.  I read the rules and it says it must be done in training mode.  I
assume it must mean the first training mode not advanced.  I believe thats
where the power is curtailed some..yet they do Monza in 1:26 in training
mode..it that possible?  What do they do it in Grand Prix mode?

NONONO...when they say training mode, it means the laps can't be done in a
race (online or offline)...you have to go into training mode (no other cars
on the track) but you use the Grand Prix cars...If they ever refer to the
novice or advanced trainer CARS, they would call them F3 and F2 respectively
(Grand prix cars being F1).  So you use a Grand Prix CAR in Training MODE.
Now that I think about it, it is pretty complicated how it is all
named...but I hope you understand now.
