Can anyone say which sim offers the best realism of the actual racing
circuits, based on the year they are designed for.

The reason begin I have played F1 and the tracks seem to be much
longer than the GP2 equivalent.

I think F1 is the more realistic track wise - certainly Spa and Monza seem
spot on - I think the reason that the tracks seem longer is that the cars are
slower - Monza,the pole qualifying time on Hard level is almost 8 seconds off
from reality - which makes the cars travel that bit slower and make the
circuits seem longer - where as on GP2 the cars quite often exceed 200mph if
set up correctly on the straights,this would dramatically reduce the apparent
length of the circuits.
