Due to popular demand, plus the fact that I happen to know it...here is
the Papyrus BBS number:503-646-3651. It has setups for racetracks, car
designs, setups so that you can race at night, patches, IROC series for
NASCAR, and other neat stuff. The files contained are NASCAR and Indy Car
Racing files. Have fun,

Why doesn't Papyrus put these files at their ftp site?  I really don't
have the money to call their bbs.

: Why doesn't Papyrus put these files at their ftp site?

Do you mean ftp.papyrus.com?  I went on there last night.  I might have
been doing something incorrectly, but I didn't see ANY files that had to
do with IndyCar or NASCAR.  In fact, I think I only found something like
8 files in 5 or so directories.

Maybe it's just new and hasn't really been setup yet.   ?????

That would be the one.  I found files, the nascar demo and upgrades to
1.05 for ICR, but nothing else.

FTP.PAPYRUS.COM is NOT Papyrus' FTP site.  FTP.STD.COM in vendors/papyrus is
the actual site.

Their ftp site is either ftp.world.com or ftp.std.com in the
vendors/papyrus directory. They have all the files there.

The original article mentioned some files for IROC for NASCAR, and night
racing for ICR. These sound really cool, but I didn't find them at
ftp.std.com.

Indy and all of the other tracks are available in expansion packs. One has
Indy and the paintkit. The other has all of the other tracks.
