drive away. He observed that the ambulance wasn't going very fast. It was
then the bad feeling started to hit me. I thought of when my wife and I saw
Greg Moore die (on T.V.) in California. It also brings to mind the day one of
my all-time favorites, Ayrton Senna, died. Earnhardt won that day and
dedicated the race to Senna. Here was a GREAT man I hated (as basically all
NASCAR fans either love or hate Earnhardt) paying homage to another GREAT man.
From that moment on, I didn't hate him anymore, I just disliked him. But more
than that, I now RESPECTED him a lot more. Tonight I'll pray for him and his
family. This last sentence might not sound right, but at least he died doing
what he loved most.
Richard
P.S. God rest his soul.
