N3 calendar file & Track texts

by skot » Mon, 25 Oct 1999 04:00:00

I just finished copying pocono, wilkes, truck tracks, etc to Nascar 3.
I used the pits patch for the track logo's and track text files, but
they did not have Hickory so I created my own track logo's.
I am using the Nascar 1999 edition Hickory track and track text file
and the track seems to run ok.
My question is, what differences (if any) are there between Nascar2/99
track text files and Nascar 3? And are there any changes I should be
adding/changing to the Hickory track text for use in Nascar 3?

Because of the fact you cant enter more than 40 tracks in a calendar
file, I made a seperate calendar file for the Fantasy tracks.
I "just" noticed that under "single race setup" there is nowhere to
change calendar files. Did papyrus forget to add this or was it
intentional? Renaming a calendar file to all.cal to change calendars
can become a real pain.
I did notice you can change calendars in champ mode, but not under
single race setup.
