Personally, I'm pleased to have spent 19.95 to get the excellent and
compendious manual with the CD. It was worth it.

I bought my GPL for $4.99 at Office Depot..it has a manual...
email Purplus and ask--I don't work there, just gave the lead, as there are
many on this list still looking for this

manuals are nice, but are they really worth 10 bucks? aside from the
collectability-value, of course. I mean, doesn't all racing-manuals
basically tell you the same things?

Ditto at Office Depot, bought my third copy for $4.88 full retail box, just
couldn't let it end up in the software graveyard. Keep an eye on the
markdown shelves.

But with GPL you get the "Four-wheel drift" strategy guide written by
this ng's Stephen Smith. Very good.

while back. :)

Thanks for the link. I swear I have checked every store in SE Michigan
and found nothing. I went ahead and ordered it. I don't even know
whether I will like the game or not, I just want to find out what all
the regulars in here keep talking about! ;o)

According to the description page at Purplus, they are selling the
retail box also. For $5 less. Anyway they already shipped it. I guess
I will find out soon.
