What view do most people that compete online use?  I was playing CPR online the
other night and was using a chase cam view, the person I was racing considered
this "cheating". Is this a common perception?

Well I would NEVER change to an outside view just because someone else wants
me to. Think about it, they're only saying it's cheating because they want
to stay with the in-car view but know that you'll have an advantage if
you're on the outside.

Play the game the best way YOU like. YOU'RE the person playing it and if
somebody else isn't happy with the way you do it, tough - they can find
someone else to play with.

I hope you enjoy your future GPL online games a little more.
