Hawaii 800?

Does the Hawaii group plan to have an 800 number available anytime
soon? I would be willing to pay a fee fro access. The LD calls are
getting a little pricey!

There will be local access numbers in 1997. The date when this will happen
and pricing has not yet been announced. An 800 number won't save you any
money, because LD calls are already pretty competitive, and Papyrus would
just have to figure out how to bill you and they have no infrastructure for
that yet. I assume that's part of what they are working on now.

No 800 numbers are planned.  I hear they are in the process of cutting a
deal for local access numbers all across America.  That would not happen
until April 1997.
