If you patch ICR1 to the latest level, the copy protection is removed.
The patches can still be found at
ftp://ftp.std.com//customers/vendors/papyrus
or on Sierra's web site http://www.sierra.com/

Michael, I downloaded the latest patch, which is icr104.exe, and the
copy protection is still there. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Perhaps you could post your 'exe' file, if your version doesn't have
the copy protection subroutine?
