NAscar Locking up after installing Hercules

Hey there,

I have just installed the Hercules thriller 3D AGP 8mg and have found
that my Nascar 2 game locks up...

I have done some searching and have found fixes (v2dosfx and
Nasrend.bat) but do not know what will really work for me?
I run both NC2 and GPL on win98...

I have heard that I need to trick the card into thinking it is another
model...is this so?
What is a guy to do?

Did you download and install the latest drivers and bios from Hercules
website?
Also, are you launching the sim with the "renddma.bat" command?
