I would love to see Papyrus take the GPL engine and use it to do a
ICR3.  Maybe they are already working on it.  8)

I don't know if it's been officially announced, but from what I've been
hearing after NASCAR 2000 (using the GPL engine) there will be an ICR3
(Probably CART Racing 2000 or something) using the engine.  Of course N2K
won't be out until probably summer next year, so I would think summer of
2000 would be the earliest we'd see it, and of course a lot could change
between now and then.

  never Happen...
They bailed on SODA almost as soon as it was out...remember the sortof
promised
3dfx patch for SODA????   Unfortunately, SODA is a done deal...I would be
very suprised
to see any other action on that category from Papyrus or Sierra..

Yea. That's a shame, too. I was just watching some CORR (similar to
SODA) racing the other day, and thinking how cool it would be to have
a new off-road sim.

I was really disappointed when the SODA 3Dfx patch was bagged.
I'd probably still be playing that one a lot.

So would I - remember that "Software Allies" on the box? SODA was
written by them, not Sierra or Papyrus.

Cheers!
