<snip>

Are you sure? I read they had blueprints for all tracks except for 1
(don't know which one they missed) so it should be quite accurate.
Then again, I once saw a satelite picture from Spa merged with the GPL
track. Very close, but they were just a tad different at some
places... Well, maybe Spa was the track of which they didn't have the
blueprint.

Chris, the guy who is working on the banked Monza, is not related to
the GPLEA team. He just posts on the GPLEA forum.

I don't know if you guys should stick together to help eachother to
realize the banked Monza, perhaps you could post a message on the
GPLEA forum to Chris, offering the data you allready collected?
He needs some detailed info about the banking height and radius...

Andre (trying to help Chris getting this banked Monza done asap :)

I did say 99.999999999% accurate.  Never will a track be perfect, and never
will a blueprint.  I know one track in my area has a length of about 1.95
miles, but if you go by an engineering company's survey it's 1.65 miles
(someone's wrong and I feel it's the survey because plenty of racers report
it to be 1.95, you'ld figure they'd notice a discrepincy on the odometer and
fuel consumption rate if it were 1.65).  Look at how bad Papy did some of
the ICR2/N3 road courses...and many of those currently exist.  Something
always gonna be a tad different...I think with the oval it really doesn't
matter though, if the radius is off by a meter or 2, or if the banking's
gradient is off by a few percent because no matter what when u have turns
with 38.66degrees of banking and 320m turns it's gonna be flat out and it's
gonna feel like your really on the Monza banks!

Well the old Spa is on streets right?  Those can change over the years....so
I don't know is satelite imagery is the best comparison to what they did...

GPLReplayAnalyzer24...I'm

Joe (GPLEA) implied it's a possibility that they'll work on it, I assume
from his (GPLEA) tag he's part of the website.

Don't really know if I can help him outside of 3 years of experience w/ Papy
trk's...but is Chris going to be able to put a 3do together?  From what I
know only Dave and the GPLEA guys can.

Jon (willing to help Chris get his banked Monza done asap, if he had an
e-mail posted)

<snip good explanation>

Yes, Joe is from GPLEA, but the track is being made by Chris, who is
not a GPLEA member. Afaik Joe has nothing to do with the banked Monza.

I forwared your email adres to Chris, I hope he contacts you.
