are you guys kidding.  EA's nascar 99 is the most fake simulator in the
whole world!
Id rather play nascar racing 1  than play with nascar 99 for a second.
how many of you guys agree with me?
come on....
the graphics in nascar 1 are still alot better than nascar 99
later

I actually downloaded that piece of junk (lucky I have a cable-modem :)

Agreed!

Well N99 have pretty graphics outside the car, but the***pit is horrible.
(no gauges from what I remember -- only 'raced' 2 laps with 1 pit stop.
I didn't lift the throttle once, except to pit!)

Ah, so others are having the low-volume problem too!

If I set my system volume high enough to actuall _hear_ anything in
N1999, when I start my system, it scares the cat and sends the dogs
running for cover.

Don't they test this stuff?

More importantly, 3dfx actually _works_.  Even on NROS!

N1999 has slightly better graphics, and the 3dfx stuff actually _works_
now, but the overall performance is much lower than N2.

-Larry

Nascar Revolution (or whatever it is) will be just as arcadish as the
demo is.

Nice sound, nice graphics, horrible realism...

Anyone noticed that you can crash in about 5 or 6 different ways?  Like
if you hit the back of a car in the corner, your car always hits the
wall in exactly the same manner every time?

Is Nascar 99 any more realistic?

Oh, and what's with having _two_ Nascar simulators coming out at the
same time from the same company?  I don't get that one :)

Yeah, the Russians who made it--tested it.
