I am running a Nascar 2 full 100% race length championship season and
have a problem. I would like to edit the drivers name of the #1 car
to whoever becomes the replacement for the rest of the year. I know
that you must use the same entry list for the whole year. Can I just
change the name of the driver, yet save it with the same car file
name? Would that corrupt my season file? Just want to change the
name of the drivers only, not nay of the graphics etc...

If you change it in "driver info" it should be fine. The way I understand
it, it doesn't matter what the name is, or even the car number after the
season started. Just where the car is in the car list. I read a FAQ where
people were wondering why cars points get messed up when adding new car sets
during a season. The answer was the same answer I just gave you.
I read this from somewhere and i can't remember where, so it is second hand
info. Please take it as such. I'd hate to***up your season. I screwed up
mine by adding a track, so I know it sucks... : )

all you need to do is go to the driver info screen, click on name and enter
the new name. no muss, no fuss.
