The Decline and Fall of RAS

It is getting increasingly difficult to find decent posts around here.
Between the 150+ posts concerning Ymenard (which should of been
ignored), the Anti-Nasnet craziness(who really cares?), and the
funniest of all, the 'Papy screwed us!', I can find one out of a
hundred or so worthy of a reply.  Sometimes I wish there wasn't a
Papy, then no one would have anything to complain about, but then I
come to my senses and think, 'If I didn't have the Papy sims, all I
could race is GP2!'  The AI gets old fast.  Well, maybe it is worth
the weeding through this group to find the rare post that concerns
racing.  Just a thought...

Amen to that,
I try to liven' things up a bit now and then by posting things that
are important to me , but man, it seems to me a lot of the posters
lately on this auto.sim newsgroup aren't even old enough to drive a
car in the first place!
Not that that's a criteria for maturity exactly, but c'mon guys..
Like somebody else recently said, "I'll admit it's getting weird.."
For some reason I have faith that it will calm down and get back to
the people really into it. This is one of the few groups that has been
relatively sane and helpful.
I'm racing, I'm posting, I'm not a complete moron.
Believe it or not.

There is a new newsgroup out there, specifically for N2 and the NROS.
It's location has been posted here recently. I'm not going to spell it
out, so maybe it will stay small and on topic for a while.

Ed: Attitudes like yours' is what's ALL WRONG about Hawaii, NROS, etc....
Too few trying to DOMINATE and turn things into an exclusive domaine
of a few..... NOW you know WHY much of Papy related online stuff
won't be successful!
Sad....
