OT: Newsgroup readers

I have a Mac version of Netscape and a PC version of Netscape.

I prefer the Mac version for newsgroup reading because if a thread is
"added to", it underlines the title of the thread. The PC version simply
"bolds" the title, which does me no good, because an unread or new
thread appears the same way.

I tried to find the preferences on the PC version to underline an
updated thread; no dice.

So, my questions are:

1) Is there a way to get the PC version to do this?

2) Is there a better shareware/freeware news reader? (I must be able to
sort by thread...)

Thanks,

Andrew

Try XNews (for Windows). It's absolutely the best news reader I
have seen and it's completely free: http://xnews.3dnews.net/
