SCGT: low throbbing engine noise

Is anyone else annoyed by that low throbbing noise that seems to be
associated with the engine?
If so, is there a way to turn it off, or lower its level in the files
somehow?  It makes the subwoofer thump too much.

The Saleen Mustang is real annoying
low quality sound is actually an improvement

I see what you mean, I bought the Mustang when I advanced to GT3 class.
BTW, someone mentioned on the SCGT forum at the sports-***.com page, that
I should try changing the name of one of the .wav files, specifically
rdnpin.wav.  That didn't get rid of the throbbing sound.  I think it might
be one of the idle sounds, but it only does it after I'm in third gear, not
when idling!

I've taken/mistaken it for a heartbeat sound, allthough it dosn't change
when things heat up.

I have noticed the same thing. It also occurs in EA`s Superbike with the
Kawasaki. Anybody got a clue?

1. RPMs throb, stalls, low oil pressure

2. 93 GCL ZJ: Low idle, engine noise +other probs (long)

3. 84 2.2 engine, low oil pressure, ugly noise.

4. Engine Noise heard at low volume

5. SCGT , very low in-car frame rates?

6. noise in system, PLEASE help (not engine noise I'm pretty sure)

7. VW polo engine low revs engine cut out

8. SCGT Dashes/are scgt.sports-gaming.com's links always bad?
