GP2...I LOVE IT!

No way!  Not 1986, I can assure you.  That might have been when GP1 was
released but definitely NOT GP2.

The date on my GP2 box says copyright 1995.

July 1996!

After waiting all that time it came out while I was away on holiday in
Spain!

I diverted the family on the 200 mile drive back from the airport to a
computer games store :)

F1GP 1992 BTW - we have only had a decade of sims (Indy 500 1990)

(snipped)

Doesn't "Night Driver" (1976) count?  The physics were just a bit below GPL
standards, though.   :-)

I had GP1 on my Amiga before 1990, definitely.

GP2...I LOVE IT!

Hehe.......Thats what a hangover does for one.

My apologies I obviously pressed an 8 instead of a 9 and as my
eyes were still shut I didn't realise.

Silly me!!

It was definatly 1996 as I remember I went to the UK for
Christmas 1995 and my brother introduced me to F1 GP on his ST.
He then showed me the screen shots on the internet for the
upcoming GP2.
