CH Products Mach I - great stick, but where to buy??

by Brad W Trawe » Mon, 27 May 1996 04:00:00

I have a cheap little CH Products Mach I that (if you can believe it)
is the best, most precise joystick I've ever owned, especially for
racing games.  Now my brother wants one - any ideas as to where he can
buy one?  It looks like they may have been discontinued, as none of my
local stores seem to have them.  And as far as I can tell, _nobody_
currently makes a stick like this that you can hold in your hand.
Seems like people like CH Products, Logitech, etc. would get a clue
that these huge, gawky Wingman/Sidewinder/Flightstick type sticks just
don't cut it for many games where precise control is crucial.

Thanks,
-Brad

Brad,

I have one of these myself and loved it for racing games until I picked
up a racing wheel/pedal combo.  I broke mine at one time and was able to find a small
stash of them at the local WalMart.  Might want to check out their electronics section
and see if they still have some*** around.  Hope this helps.  Later.
