I try, at least that is the plan... though I usually end up into the left
side rail.

I'm definitely not smooth through the line it seems, but I'm definitely
taking a line that is similar to those of faster laps.

Maybe it's just that we're bad drivers? :)

Sounds like brakes are pulling you off course, with wheels locking/
snatching. I always had this problem, as my left foot is not very
sensitive and controllable. Have developed a new technique of planting
left foot all the way down so the wheels lock, then adding a bit of
right foot to unlock them. (Since I'm on single axis brake throttle,
adding right release some brake, and my right foot is more accurate).
Just a thought.
