Just watched a program the GPL and WSC crowd may both be interested in.
Legends of Motorsport on Speedvision today ran a film "BRSCC 1967",
featuring F1 in a non-points race at Brands Hatch won by Gurney, in
what was reported as his first win, and a 6 Hour endurance race with
LeMans-type sports cars at Brands won by Phil Hill, in what they say
was his final serious win before retirement.  Saloon car races shown as
well.

Repeated late night tonight if you want to catch the action.  Tomorrow
on Legends they run similar BRSCC films from 1963 and 1964, and
something at Sebring from '63.

Dan Gurney won a few F1 world championship races before that, including
the first win for Porsche in 1962.  Perhaps it was the first win for an
Eagle (if this race was before the event at Spa that year, where Gurney
had his one and only Eagle victory in the F1 world championship).
