That's probably the same length as the list I've uninstalled :-)

My list reads...
1) GPL
2) GPL (backup copy on other HD :-)
3) N4 demo (still haven't made a trip to buy it yet)

I've got six flight sims installed, but that's because there isn't a
GPL-equivalent in the flight sim world.

REVS? As in Geoff Crammond's F3 sim? On a BBC Micro emulator?

1) Currently installed:

a) GPL

b) Ordinary games:

Colin McRae Rally 2.0
F1-2000 (not CS)
GP3 (for its weather effects)
Mercedes-Benz Truck Racing (underrated)
NFS:P2000 (UK name for NFS:PU)
Rally Masters (woo-hoo!)
SoS1937 (yep, full version - my rating's now down to C- because of
those ***Y crashes to desktop!)
Sports Car GT (if only it had more than one dashboard at a time)
TOCA 2 (must try those Grinnall's again)

2) Sitting around in boxes:

CART Precision Racing (got with wheel, and - gasp - I actually quite
like it on the ovals)
Colin McRae 1
GP2 + various addon CDs (Perfect Grand Prix etc)
GPL (2 extra copies)
International Rally Championship (ugh)
Monster Trucks 2 (got with wheel - find it boring)
Network Q RAC Rally Championship (still fun)
Outlaw Racers (straight-to-budget cheapo GTA/Carmageddon wannabe.
Actually not bad for a blast).
Rally Championship (= Mobil 1, RC2000, etc)
Speed Haste (bad-shareware-standard stock-car game that's actually
quite a laugh in split-screen 2-player mode)
TOCA 1
World Wide Rally (bad-shareware-standard Spanish game that isn't any
sort of laugh in any mode)

3) Used to have but gave away, got rid of etc:

Grand Prix Manager 1 (snore)
NASCAR 1 (ditto)
Network Q Rally (the *really* old one)
Screamer 2 (kept crashing on my "fast" system)

4) Game most likely to buy next:

Viper Racing (probably in that UK budget 4-pack with Nascar 2,
Powerslide and Grand Touring)

5) Game least likely to buy next:

Anything with "Test Drive" in the title...

Hmm...

N4 (modified, CD cracked; without patch)
N4 (modified, CD cracked; patched)
N4 (original CD version; patched)
N4 demo
GPL (original CD version; patched)
GPL66 (1966 recreation)
GPL67 (exact 1967 recreation)
GPL68 (1968 recreation)
GPL (highly modified, where all the new tracks, cars, graphics, etc. go)
GPL demo
GP500 (125cc, 250cc, 500cc)
GP3
Viper Racing
IndyCar 2
F12000
GP2 (original 1994)
GP2-2000 (2000 recreation)
GP2-CART (CART mod)
N3 (with CTS add-on)
N3 (without CTS)
NLegends
NR1999
Superbike 2000
NASCAR Heat

I usually only play N4 and GPL though. The others, except for GP500, just don't
do much for me anymore.

how many driving/racing sims to you have installed?

by Robi » Sun, 27 May 2001 23:25:53

Okay, here's my eclectic little mix of driving/racing sims in no pariticular
order other than how they appear in my "Start/Programs" menu:
F1 2000: two weeks ago it was $8.99 (cdn.) at Walmart so I had to try it.
CART add-on convinced me
NFS - Porsche 2000: this is still a great diversion.
N3: Only still on my system because my brothers system can't handle N4 and
we still race each other.
N4: I use this one half as much as GPL.
GPL: of course! Used by far most frequently... although I am still pathetic
at a lot of the tracks.
Shelfware includes:
TOCA2
SCGT
N1: plus the add-on track pack.
N2: plus the add-on tracks.
ICR: with all the add-on packs available from Papy.
ICR2
N Heat: I am thinking of reinstalling this one to try the CART Heat patch.
GP2
GP3: I'm still feeling ripped off by this one and it's why I waited 'til
F1-2K was so cheap.
Wow, add all the cash up that is devoted to sim racing and I don't think it
would be a good idea to let slip to the wife about the total. Throw in the
cost of the system upgrades and cost of the TSW (and upgrades to it) and
it's not an insignificant amount.

In no particular order:

Monster Truck Madness 2  (not much of a sim, I know, but it's fun!)
Motocross Madness
Viper Racing
Grand Prix Legends
Nascar Heat   (a recent, awesome purchase)
Nascar 4 Demo

If it was in the stores in the US, I'd have bought it already.  Since I'd have
to get it mail-order, I just haven't bothered yet...

It is in stores in the US ... even Walmart and Shopko have it.
