With the tragic death today of Scott Brayton at Indy, I paused to
reflect the times while "racing" NASCAR and ICR2 that I have hit the
wall at a high rate of speed. After muttering a few choice words, I
collect what's left of my car and either limp back to the pits, or hit
the escape key and try again, usually mad as hell.
Next time I hit the wall, I'm going to try and remember it's only a
game. I can get out of my chair and walk away, able to come back and
always race again. To me, these thoughts put this new found hobby of
mine in its proper perspective, and that only real life is serious
business.
