LOAD "GPL",8,1

1349385 = about 1.3MB
1.3MB in 5.27 seconds = about .25 MB/second
So at that speed 22MB will take about 90 seconds, or a minute and a half.
Not 20 seconds.
p.s. Hey Rik, sorry I haven't hosted that Glacier race I've been promising.
Work has been a bit crazy lately, and any GPL time has been taken up with
league practise...

But the video started playing after 20 sec.
and it was finished by the time it was over!

That's under a two-hour download on a good day, with no
other traffic taking up bandwidth- what's your problem? ;-)
Jonny
Rik, do you know George Ojeda by chance?

I find the idea really remarkable, as you use a crane and you really need to
be "there" with the other drivers. You need to drive hard not only to keep
up with the pack but to pick up realistic passing, crashes, etc..
As for those great Nurburgring shots from the rear of the car, I'm almost
sure there is some post-production edits to create some effects here
(sideway panning on a portion of a screen, using a smaller frame then the
whole picture to create shiver effects).

(just a hard-headed person from Jacob's NG. I had so many fights against
him ;-D)

I made the Clermont - Ferrand video but you should really be saying wow to
Martijn Keizer who recreated this wonderful track along with help from
others in the GPLEA. The track has a long way to go before completion
(that's why there's no trees, objects and what have you). Glad to see you
enjoyed the video.
Btw, the video with classical music is made by Sam Dobie.

By not having the car they're attached to in view, they give a much more
dynamic appearance to the car cam.
